We’re now just about two weeks away from the wedding on September 26th!

Here are some things to keep in mind for that weekend:

We’re hosting a welcome party on Friday the 25th at Columbus Cafe in North Beach. This location is special to us because we lived in the top unit of the building where the bar is for several years. This party runs from 6 pm to 9 pm. Feel free to come and go as you please; the dress code is casual to match the vibe of the nice event room in the bar's basement where it’s taking place. It’s an open bar, and we’ll have Tony’s Pizza to eat.

For our wedding on the 26th, doors open at The Melody of San Francisco at 4:45 pm for a champagne and dim sum hour before everyone is seated for our short ceremony at 5:45. This will be followed by an Italian buffet dinner from Original Joe’s at 6 (so don’t eat TOO much dim sum). Then we'll do a few reception things, a dance party at 7:30, and karaoke at 9. The open bar starts running at 6 as well, once the champagne hour and ceremony come to a close. The dress code is to wear something that makes you feel nice and fancy. Interpret that however you want; no one will be mad!

You can see the schedule in a classic schedule-style format on the home page.

If you’re looking for things to do while in San Francisco, take a look at some of our recommended spots that have been important to us at different points in our relationship. You can also just ride a Cable Car. Whatever sounds good to you.

It means so much to both of us that you’re attending our wedding. To everyone making a journey to San Francisco, thank you. To everyone who lives in San Francisco, thank you. To those who can make it to the party and the wedding, thank you. To those who can only make the wedding, thank you. In short: thank you.

Love,

Richard & Monica
